H.E. Ahmed Rashed Al Haroon, Minister of Commerce and Industry, State of Kuwait, officially confirms his participation at the first at the first ever GULF COOPERATION COUNCIL – BUCHAREST – ROMANIA Business Forum – Business Opportunities in South-Eastern Europe, organized by Forum Invest on March 8-10, 2011 in Bucharest.
One of the top 10 richest countries of the world and holding about 10% of the world`s oil reserves, Kuwait is one of the fastest growing economies in the Middle East, having registered a USD 117 bln. GDP in 2010.
Organized under the High Patronage and in the presence of HE Mr. Traian Basescu, President of Romania and in partnership with the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business Environment of Romania and the Federation of the GCC Chambers of Commerce, the Forum will bring together officials and representatives of the business communities from the GCC countries and South-Eastern Europe for identifying new cooperation opportunities between the two regions.
The event in March is the first one of a two years’ program comprising at least three major economic events to take place in South-East Europe and the GCC Countries.
