John Kemp is an analyst covering commodities and energy for Thomson Reuters in London. His principal interests lie in crude oil and refined products, natgas and power, commodities as an asset class, and links with other assets such as equities, exchange rates and fixed-income.
John joined Reuters from RBS Sempra Commodities, where he was a senior analyst covering base metals, macro and oil. Before that, he was an analyst covering world trade and finance for consulting firm Oxford Analytica. He has a degree in politics, philosophy and economics from the University of Oxford.
