BUCHAREST INTERNATIONAL FORUM

July 4-31, 2011

On July 4th-31st , 2011, Forum Invest was honoured to present the first edition of BUCHAREST INTERNATIONAL FORUM, organized in cooperation with the Municipality of Bucharest, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania, the National Council of Small and Medium Sized Private Enterprises in Romania, EURISC Foundation,  and more than 20 of other professional and private organizations in Romania.

BUCHAREST INTERNATIONAL FORUM is a four-year program of forums launched by Forum Invest, aimed to contribute substantially to the development of regional and international cooperation. The most complex international event fully dedicated to the City of Bucharest, the Forum is built as a one - month series of events happening every year in Bucharest.

More than 1.000 officials, business representatives and media from Romania, the Central and Southeast European countries, as well as from the BRIC region, the Gulf countries and USA participated at the first edition of the Forum.

In the context of the dramatic impact of the economic crisis on the global economy, the event paid a special attention to AGRICULTURE – major international and regional risks, financial solutions for the future, food security and food safety, the new Common Agriculture Policy.

Conclusions of the Forum were analysed between July 28-31, 2011, at  the Forum Invest Club in GENEVA, in an elite reunion of high-level decision - makers in Central and Southeast Europe.
