Continuing the announced multi-Annual program of economic forums for promoting the business opportunities between the two regions, the event in Abu Dhabi will bring together officials and representatives of the business communities from the GCC countries, Central & South-Eastern Europe. New cooperation opportunities between the two regions will be debated during the Forum, with a special focus on the agriculture, infrastructure, energy, banking & finance, IT&C, education and research, investments, trade, tourism, railways, SMEs, health & pharma sectors.
Special sessions & billateral meetings during the Forum will be dedicated to Agriculture and Food Security.
In the context of the challenging impact of the financial-economic crisis, food insecurity on global population and more than 1,3 billion people suffering from chronic hunger, Forum Invest is rallying to the efforts of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations to defeat hunger and build long-term food security programs to support agriculture and agribusiness. Participants at the Forum will be provided a generous framework to generate substantial debates and initiate long-term partnerships on food security, natural resource management, forestry and fisheries, early warning of food emergencies, disaster recovery, food safety and many other areas.
