THE FUTURE IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY!
The global economic crash has tranformed the excessive consumption of resources in a major concern for both authorities and companies all over the world. Sustainability and responsible behaviour towards the environment and the city are today, essesntial components within the business strategies and projects for urban development. In a financial context where the economic efficiency is the fundamental principle for functioning, the civil society must be educated in the spirit of an eco-responsible urban culture.
On the occasion of the first edition of the Infrastructure, Urban Development & Interior Architecture International Forum , organized on November 29th and 30th in Bucharest, Forum Invest continued “The Future is our Responsibly” social campaign. Aiming to generate a responsible behavior towards the environment and society, “The Future is our Responsibly” was launched in 2009 under the “Consume Responsibly!” slogan and it acts for the creation and promotion of a responsible urban behavior.
The Campaign leans its set of messages on a list of „healthy” percepts for individual and corporate behavior, underlying the positive impact of an environmentally friendly lifestyle on your city:
- Verify the energy efficiency of your house
- Build and renovate with ecological materials
- Sort and hand over your waste to specialized organizations
- Walk, use the bicycle and the public transportation
- Verify your suppliers`s care for the environment
- Inform yourself and educate the others
- Demand your right to live in a sustainable country
- Consume responsibly!
