Forum Invest challenges some of the greatest political leaders, be their local or international, to dialogue. Not only in its unique events, but whenever issues of national importance are under debate, or when the company wants to bring to public attention up to date issues to focus on.

Tim Yeo, Member of the UK Parliament and special guest of the Energy 2009 International Forum to take place in Bucharest on November 2-4 2009, says for Forum Invest that there are two big challenges now for the energy industry and for investors.
"The first is to make sure that Europe has secure supplies of energy. Some of the biggest European countries like Germany are very dependant now on importing gas in particularly but also oil or some other sources of energy.
The second challenge is to reduce the Carbon emissions from the process of generating electricity. We need to see more investment in low carbon electricity", says Yeo.

Moreover, "It“s a very urgent priority now for all the European countries to invest now in renewable energy. We need to see a much bigger program on all kinds of renewables such as wind energy, energy from waist, new technologies such as waves or energy from hydrogen. It also means investments in nuclear energy, which is a more controversial option"
, Yeo states.
